Gibson uses the heaviest gauge aluminized steel in the industry for their superior aluminuzed cat back exhaust systems, where every effort has been incorporated into production to extend both the reliability and durability. For their optional stainless steel cat back exhausts, Gibson uses the finest quality stainless steel available so that they can provide a lifetime warranty against rust-through.

The Gibson difference:

Power: Gibson delivers added torque and horsepower in the 2,000 to 4,000 rpm range where other brands only provide gains between 5,000 and 6,000 rpm, a range never used by street vehicles and seldomly used by high performance vehicles.

Sound: Gibson is quieter in the cab than any other competitive system. You get the big-block sound at the tailpipe, where it belongs, with no annoying hisses or vibrations. This is due to Gibson's use of thicker materials in both the muffler case and the exhaust tubing, as well as the patented "Flow Tuning" chambers in every Gibson Superflow TM muffler.

Technology: Gibson uses "mandrel bending" technology to keep the flow size of the all headers and exhaust pipes constant throughout the bend. Further, Gibson's use of "slip fit" component joining allows each pipe or component to slip into the larger opening of each downstream exhaust pipe or component, reducing exhaust gas turbulence.

Dyno-Tuning for Real World Results: Too large a pipe without the proper muffler will reduce the all-important low-end torque and only increase top end power. Gibson weighs each of variables (number of pipes, size of tubing, muffler packing and chambering, bend radiuses, output sound, etc.) to provide a deep throaty exhaust that offers both increased torque and horsepower that you can feel in a very usable power band.

Every Gibson header is dyno-tuned and engine matched to unleash your vehicle's full power potential. Gibson headers are engineered as a direct replacement for the factory exhaust manifolds, allowing you to be 50-state emissions legal, while retaining the stock emissions equipment. These headers will not affect the factory warranty and meet all EPA and CARB requirements. Furthermore, Gibson headers are designed for use on either stock height or lowered vehicles.
