Q: How much improvement in horsepower and torque can I expect with my specific engine?

Q: Will this product void my warranty?
A: No. It is illegal for a dealership to void your warranty based solely on the fact that you have installed an aftermarket product.
Q:
Will it damage my transmission?
A: No. In some
cases, transmission operation is improved.
Q:
Does your product require a higher grade fuel than 87 octane?
A:
While Superchips MAX MicroTuners for gas applications give you the choice of running
87 or 91-93 octane fuel (except GM cars), only the use of 91- 93 octane fuel will
increase the horsepower and torque output. The 87 octane programs provide minimal
engine tuning, but do provide transmission tuning, limiter and gear/tire ratio
options, and are designed to work with hi-flow intakes and cat-back exhausts.
Q: Will a Superchips MAX
MicroTuner improve my gas mileage?
A: While Superchips
designs the programs specifically for more performance, in some cases . . . those
with a light foot . . . may get better fuel economy.
Q:
What are "DTC" codes that everyone talks about?
A:
These are Diagnostic Trouble Codes that are outputted by the factory microprocessor
when it senses a problem with your vehicle. In the case of pressurized fuel systems,
it may only be telling you that your gas cap is loose, but with a Superchips MAX
MicroTuner, you don't have to go to the dealer to find that out. And for a good
do-it-yourself mechanic, this can be a fantastic money saving tool over the years
if he wants to diagnose and repair his own vehicle. This is just another nice
feature of the tuner.
Q: How difficult is
it to install the Superchips MAX MicroTuner program?
A:
Most customers with minimal mechanical skills can install the program in 10 min.

Q: Can my vehicle be returned back to stock?
A: Yes, this can be done by removing the program
and putting in back in the tuner. In fact, it is highly recommended that you remove
the Superchips program before returning your vehicle to your dealer as the dealer
may flash the factory program over yours. If this occurs, you will lose your program
and your tuner will be unable to re-install it.
Q:
Do you have all throttle point tuning?
A: Yes,
unlike Hypertech and other companies, we tune at all throttle positions, from
part throttle to wide open throttle at intervals of 200 rpm.
Q:
Will it remove the speed limiter and/or the rev limiter?
A:
Yes. This is available in most cases, but not all. Check your application.
Q:
